Budget session starts with President Pranab Mukherjee's address

New Delhi : President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday addressed the Joint Session of Parliament. He said the past year was financially difficult for India with the economy experiencing slower growth.

The Left parties boycotted the address because of the bandh called by the trade unions.
